Professor Lucia Reisch is a behavioural economist and social scientist, focusing on the theory and application of behavioural insights to promote behavioural change in individuals and organisations towards societal welfare and sustainable development. She was appointed in 2021 as the inaugural El-Erian Professor of Behavioural Economics & Policy and Fellow of Queens’ College, joining from Copenhagen Business School. She is an Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Consumer Policy and has consulted on sustainable consumption and other issues to the World Bank several governments worldwide. She serves in advisory capacity on multiple boards and groups of the OECD, the European Commission, and various United Nations agencies.
